As a mom-therapist and educator, I have a pretty good idea of what get's in the way of feeling joy, calm, and confident in motherhood.

And honestly, I struggled to find my stride as a mom, too. I had many moments where I wondered why motherhood was so hard, why I felt disconnected, sad, and suffocated from anxiety.

But over the years, I learned how to take back control in order to actually love my life again. This took major introspection, a lot of therapy, more self-help books than I could count, and years of learning as much as possible to support moms in my counselling practice. At one point, we even sold everything we had and travelled for a year—with two babies—in pursuit of a change of scenery.  😬
